MORGOTH: Tribute Web Site Launched

Long-defunct German death metal pioneers MORGOTH might have dissolved but their ten-year long career has been perpetuated not only on the compilation "1987-1997: The Best Of Morgoth" (released on Century Media Records on January 24, 2005),but also on an excellently designed web site which you can find at www.morgoth.eastpool.com, which offers all information regarding the band.

During their career, MORGOTH produced such genre classics as the demo "Pits of Utumno", the ripping EPs "Resurrection Absurd" and "The Eternal Fall", and the fantastic "Cursed" album. After these traditional death metal onslaughts, the band successfully incorporated more experimental sounds into their deadly fundament and created such innovative and diverse works as "Odium" and their swansong "Feel Sorry For The Fanatic". After laying MORGOTH to rest, singer Marc Grewe was active in COMECON, POWER OF EXPRESSION and nowadays plays with his former MORGOTH colleague Sebastian Swart (bass) in the promising ACTION JACKSON.
